It’s really difficult to recognize whether a relationship is fake or real in short span of time but in my opinion there are few signs by which you can know relationship is fake:

1. No Future or Immediate Plan/Concerns - How can you build a future together or life if you don’t discuss it or even casually talk about it? If your partner avoids/postpones/dodges talk on future it means he/she is not serious.
2. Lack of Emotional Bond - When you are not with your partner then do you think about him/her? Does their mood affect your mood also? Do you really miss him/her? If ans to all these ques is NO then your relationship is fake one.
3. You have changed a lot! - A clear red flag. If you are not natural with your partner or you are try to mold yourself too much then your are in fake relationship. In real relationship your partner accepts you with all flows and you do the same.
4. Plenty of Fight - Fights are normal in relationship but shear fight is sign of fake relationship. If after every fight you feel like to end the relationship or your partner shows no interest in shorting out or figure out everything keeping other’s perspective then you are in fake relationship.
5. No Special Moments - When you love someone, you find every time spent with each other special whether you are doing something concrete or not. In real relationship, you make extraordinary moment in ordinary time.
6. Sex - Sex can be “cherry” on cake but not entire cake! It is an important part of intimate love but cannot be the sole purpose. If being physical is only the reason holding both of you then it is a fake relationship.
7. Likes/dislikes - Do you really knows about each other? Do you know their favourite movie? or their favourite place/ food/ colour? Do you know about their little habits.

If you do not know better half inside out then you are making fool by assuming you know your partner. Yes!!!!! You are in a fake relationship.
